"I’ve worked as a relationship counsellor and in relationship education. I’ve managed a range of programs in a large community organisation and worked in the area of sexuality and sex education at a time when those programs were still running in schools."

What does Judy love about working in the disability sector?
"I love that I never have the opportunity to get bored. All of the service users of our organisation are unique, and finding ways to meet their individual needs ensures that we stay connected with our community and what is happening in it."

A moment when Judy knew she was making a real difference:
"You know that you're making a difference when you get to share an achievement that someone has enjoyed striving for. The times that bring me the most satisfaction are when someone with a disability has accomplished something that they are proud of."
