"I have 30 years experience in the community business sector assisting disadvantaged job seekers participate in employment. I've also worked as a Press Photographer and operated my own Media and Commercial Photography business and a regional development business called Area CQ."

What does he love about working in the disability sector?
"I'm passionate about making sure people who experience the most disadvantage get a fair go in our society."

A moment when Peter knew he was making a real difference:
"At 13, I became friends with a man with an intellectual disability... I remember he was 35 years old, and his day consisted of playing in his 'toy' room all day. He and I became good mates and found that we didn't have to stay in a room all day."
